At Surajya Sarvangin Vikas Prakalp, we believe that education provides the means to live, while values provide the foundation for life. Our Sanskar Varg (Value Education) initiative is the soul of our organization. Through this, we shape the minds of children from Pune’s Sevavastis so that they grow into disciplined, compassionate, and culturally rooted citizens.
The session begins with inspirational songs (Padya) and recitation of Manache Shlok, helping children understand the power of a calm and virtuous mind.
A moral story (Bodh Katha) is narrated, bringing values like honesty, courage, and empathy to life.
Traditional games are played to improve physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition.
Students share their meals with one another, beautifully demonstrating equality and brotherhood. This community meal breaks barriers and teaches the spirit of togetherness.
The class concludes with a collective prayer for the well-being of the world.
To build confidence and practical life skills, we regularly organize field visits:
To understand law, order, and public services.
To understand financial literacy and the importance of savings.
To learn about trade, nutrition, and daily economics. These visits also help remove fear from children’s minds when visiting public institutions.
These visits remove hesitation and empower children to confidently engage with real-world systems.
We celebrate the legacy of our national heroes. From Shiv Jayanti fort-building competitions to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti activities such as 24-hour Akhand Vachan and the 'Har Ghar Babasaheb' initiative, we introduce students to their cultural roots. Through speech and essay competitions, children also develop their communication skills.
Our Vadya Pathak reflects a beautiful blend of culture and discipline. This group of 50 talented students receives training in traditional arts such as Lezhim, Dhol, and Tasha. Their performances during Ganesh Utsav and public events showcase Maharashtra’s living heritage and the remarkable discipline of youth.
During the annual Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Wari, our students serve Varkari devotees by massaging their feet and providing first aid support. Through this, they learn that service to humanity is the highest value.
This experience instills compassion and the true spirit of service.
To ensure that these values reach every home, we publish a monthly magazine. It includes inspirational poems, moral stories, success stories of great personalities, puzzles, and special highlights of students’ achievements.
